Our trusted spirit hunter, Irene Tan, tracked down something rare and a little unexpected — a single barrel from ISCO out of Providence, Rhode Island, of all places. 

This Alliance Release is built entirely on heritage blue corn — a 50/50 blend of landrace heirloom and indigo varieties — the kind of grain you almost never see in American whiskey. We gave it a taste and the nose opens with sandalwood and bright berries over classic vanilla oak. The palate is effervescent and explosive in the best way, finishing sweet and warm with a flavor we landed on as marionberry and vanilla cream. 

This 4yr old blue corn bourbon whiskey is genuinely remarkable — and with only 100 bottles, when it's gone, it's gone.
