Assassin Mead is back! But this time, we took it to another realm.
For this rendition, we teamed up with Charlie from Golden Hive Mead to recreate his mead recipe found in the video game Skyrim - and modified for glory. We made, distilled and aged it here in Texas for, again - glory.
You may remember the unaged distilled version as Assassin’s Tea. In the video, we sit down with Charlie over Zoom to revisit Assassin’s Tea and taste it side-by-side with what that same spirit became after several months in Texas oak.
Assassin Mead - a little bit Texas, a little bit Tamriel, with floral notes, vanilla, caramel, honey sweetness, botanicals, and just the right amount of oakiness to make you forget all about that arrow in your knee (...nerdy skyrim reference).
Also glory.
